Live Video Programs
General Information
The National Science Center's (NSC's) live video broadcast programs currently can be reached either by IP or ISDN point-to-point connection. NSC can provide educational programs statewide, nationally and internationally without the restrictions of time or distance.
Georgia sites are not required to pay any program fees but may incur connection costs if they elect to use ISDN. Nominal Program fees are required for out-of-state (non-Georgia) sites in addition to any connection costs.
If you are interested in utilizing our video educational programming, you are in the right place. Here are some things to keep in mind when looking at our programming.
- Over 16 programs from which to make your selection
- Topics in physical science, health, chemistry and mathematics
- 10 separate science topics offered during the school year at distinct grade levels (3-12)
- National standards shown under program description are at the middle school level
- Participants are exposed to fun, interactive, inquiry-based demonstrations and are encouraged to participate with demonstrators
